Laurel Feigley holds a Master’s of Social Work degree (2002) from Smith College School for Social Work, Northampton, MA with a specialization in Clinical Social Work. Laurel has worked as a psychotherapist in a variety of settings including: community mental health, college counseling and private practice.
Laurel is trained in Psychodynamic and Family Systems Theories. This translates to a deep respect for you, the individual, in the context of your family and community. Most of us struggle with overwhelming emotions and situations at some point in our lives. How we cope often has its origin in our family and serves us well in some ways and not in others. Laurel will collaborate with you to identify these patterns and make the changes that bring you greater health. She works with people in their late teens and beyond to address issues related to mood, relationships, life transitions and problematic behaviors.
